About This Event

October is Filipino American History Month! Join us for a live, interactive virtual conversation about Hair-pulling Between Good and Evil with the artists, curators, and featured guest speaker Edwin Ramoran. \ \ In this panel, Ramoran will discuss the work of \"Hair-pulling Between Good and Evil\" from his past experience as a curator and Filipinx heritage. Edwin Ramoran will be joined by the curators of the exhibition, Christopher Velasco and Dakota Noot, in addition to several of the artists followed by a live Q&A.\ \ When: Thursday October 28th, 6:30-8pm - Virtual on Zoom\ Register at http://ow.ly/2hQR50GvB4H\ \ The exhibition is currently on view at Angels Gate Cultural Center through December 11th, with gallery hours between 10am and 4pm, Thursday - Saturday.\ \ Hair-pulling Between Good and Evil is made possible with generous support from the Pasadena Art Alliance and the Department of Cultural Affairs, City of Los Angeles.
