Robby Krieger is an American musician best known as the guitarist and a songwriter for the iconic rock band, The Doors. He joined the band in 1965 and played a crucial role in shaping their unique sound, which blended rock, blues, jazz, and flamenco influences. Krieger co-wrote many of The Doors' hits, including "Light My Fire", "Love Me Two Times", "Touch Me", and "Love Her Madly". He has also written extensively about his experiences with The Doors in his memoir, "Set the Night on Fire," which explores the band's rise, Morrison's death, and the aftermath.
