The Actors’ Gang brings pop culture, familiar characters, music, and dance to Shakespeare in the Park for Families!
For over 18 years, The Actors’ Gang has performed their Free Shakespeare in the Park for Families show in Culver City’s Media Park. For the first time, they are thrilled to bring their production to Burbank Public Library! Their 50-minute adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play “Two Gentlemen of Verona” will bring…love, laughter, and invaluable life lessons to anyone who attends. The play will include pop culture references, familiar characters, music, dance, and of course Shakespeare’s poetry.
*Please note, this performance has been moved from Lincoln Park indoors to the Buena Vista Branch Library Community Room.*

Angel City Brass Club (ACBC) is a small brass ensemble in the Los Angeles area. Its members are professional musicians and educators with extensive performance experience and advanced degrees in music. The story follows a chilling chain of murders connected to an abandoned church, unfolding as a dark and cinematic vision that spans both page and sound.
Moderating the discussion is award-winning horror author, editor, and bookseller Del Howison, co-founder of the legendary Dark Delicacies bookstore. A longtime champion of the horror genre, Howison will guide the conversation as King and Sobczak discuss transforming Carpenter’s unforgettable nightmare into a graphic novel, from developing its haunting world and unforgettable characters to crafting suspense through the unique language of comics.
